Santa Barbara Mission was established in 1786 as the tenth of the Spanish Franciscans California Missions. The present buildings, completed in 1927, is the fourth church and constructed after the earthquake of 1925. The fountain dates back to 1808. It is a favorite stop for visiting tourists.
